Grandparents
In a similar fashion, grandparents are grandfather and grandmother.
Grandfather is:
– the father of your father
– the son of your great-grandparents
– and the husband of your grandmother.
Grandmother is:
– the mother of your mother
– the daughter of your great-grandparents
– and the wife of your grandfather.
Remark: A person can have grandparents and great-grandparents from both directions, mother and father.
